Returns & Complaints

At Smelt ApS, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you experience problems with a product, or want to return or exchange it, you can read our return and refund policy below.

Extended right of return – 30 days

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 30 days from the day you receive the item - in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Act and our extended right of return.

The item must be returned in essentially the same condition and quantity as when received. You may examine the product as you would in a physical store - but it must not have been used.

Attach a copy of your order confirmation or other documentation for the purchase.

Repayment

Once we have received and inspected your return item, we will refund the amount paid as soon as possible - usually within 14 days.

Refunds are made with a deduction for any reduction in value if the item has been handled in a way that has reduced its value.

Exchange

If you wish to exchange for another item, we will send the new item as soon as we have received and approved the original return. Any price differences will be regulated.

Complaint

You have a 24-month right of complaint in accordance with the Purchase Act. This means that in the event of a fault or defect, you have the right to have the item repaired, exchanged, get your money back or a reduction in the price – depending on the situation.

The right to complain only applies to original faults and does not cover normal wear and tear or damage as a result of incorrect use.

Remarks

  • Return costs is basically covered by the customer, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Unclaimed packages is not automatically refunded. We reserve the right to deduct any shipping and handling fees for refunds.
